Where To Celebrate Hanukkah Across North Carolina

Hanukkah begins on Dec. 18 and lasts through next Sunday, Dec. 25. Also known as the Festival of Lights, Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday commemorating the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem during the Maccabean Revolt. Celebrations of the holiday are accompanied by lighting the candles of a Menorah, a candelabrum with nine candles.
