Cape Fear Festival of Trees to be Held at NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher

From now through Jan. 2, 2023, the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher will be hosting the Cape Fear Festival of Trees, according to WECT.

The event will feature roughly 50 themed trees that will be scattered throughout the aquarium. Viewers can enjoy the festive trees during normal aquarium hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the aquarium will be closed on Christmas.

The festival has been a holiday staple for more than 30 years. LifeCare, a nonprofit focused on providing health services to people with serious illnesses, will be raising money via donations from festival guests and groups that are sponsoring the trees.

Festival admission comes free with admission to the aquarium. Tickets can be purchased on the aquarium’s website.
